"I am lucky to say that I have used Sweet Wheat Photography and Design. Kara designed baby shower invites for me, which turned about perfect. She took the idea I had then added some touches of her own that really completed the look. My guests were really impressed and raved about their invitations. She has also become the unofficial photographer for our son. She really knows how to get the shot, even when our son was a squirmy 6 month old. She has been very flexible about finding time to take photos of him and we cannot complain at all. We are always thrilled when we get the photos back. My husband and I will always recommend anyone to use Sweet Wheat Photography and Design! "

"July 2011 was a very special time for my family. We were able to gather all of our family members together, for the first time in many, many years. Brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and grandchildren from all over the country came together for Lebanon’s July 4th celebration. There were 21 of us, plus Milo the dog. Knowing that is might be many years before we were all together again, we wanted to memorialize our reunion with a family portrait, which we had never done before. There was only one person that I could think of that I would trust to take those precious pictures for us, Kara Wheat.

The day of the photo shoot, Kara met us at the park. She was so organized and spent time making sure that each picture was just what we wanted. She must have taken 500 pictures that day. She also made the shoot fun, and was very patient with us, which was not easy with our group.

The pictures that we received were absolutely beautiful. I would not have changed a thing. Our son will be a senior next year, and I certainly know who we will be calling to take his senior pictures."

"When I was a senior in high school, Kara Wheat drove all the way to my hometown of Madison, IN to take my senior pictures. I had no idea what I wanted my pictures to look like. All I wanted to accomplish was to photograph the happiness that I held in the various places around the town I grew up in, so that when I moved away to college, those pictures would still be there to help me remember what a beautiful place I lived in.

Kara went above and beyond any of my expectations as she passionately captured the beauty of my hometown and my genuine happiness. She made the whole session extremely comfortable and honest. She knew how to blend the scenery with my personality, making my pictures unique and subjective to me.

I have never met anyone who is more dedicated to her clients. Kara will go out of her way for anyone simply because she is driven to do whatever she can to capture some of the most important and memorable instances in someone's life."

"I never thought our family would have an "official photographer", but that's what we call Kara Wheat. She's been taking pictures of my kids and my family for several years, and I'm always so happy with the results that I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Kara is creative with backgrounds, poses, and props and my girls have had so much fun being her "models". She captures their personalities and their love for one another. We've added another addition to the family, and I can't wait to see what kinds of pictures she gets with our baby boy and expanded family!"
